Quests are Fate/Grand Order's primary gameplay engine. Entering a quest requires AP (Action Points), which are tied to your Master Level and regenerate at a rate of 1 every 5 minutes. Quests consist of 1 or more battles and, for main quests, interludes, and some events, also include a visual novel story sequence. After completing every arrow and ∞ in a quest node, you will earn a one-time reward.

Main QuestEdit

The main story of Fate/Grand Order. Main story quests can only be completed once, but visual novel scenes can be replayed from My Room.

Free QuestsEdit

After completing the main quest in a given location, free quests become available in that location. Even if the main quest returns to that location, the free quest will still be available. Free quests are repeatable.

EventsEdit

Events are time-limited locations and/or Chaldea Gate quests with special rewards. Daily quests are always available in Chaldea Gate and change each day.

  • Event List
    • When new Servants are added to the game, they oftentimes have a one-time Trial Quest available to showcase the new Servant's animations, skills, and Noble Phantasm. Check the event page introducing the new Servant for information on the Trial Quest.
  • Daily Event Quests: Chaldea Gate
  • Hunting Quests
    • Limited-time Quests that can be repeated infinitely until it expires. These quests have higher drop rates for certain ascension or skill-level up materials.

InterludeEdit

Interludes are one-time events that unlock when a Servant you own has reached a certain Bond level and has been ascended to a certain point. If the interlude takes place outside of Chaldea Gate, you must have completed the storyline of that area in order to access the interlude. Interludes can only be completed once, but visual novel scenes can be replayed from My Room.

Interludes can be found in the quest zones where they take place, regardless of whether you are eligible to attempt the quest or not. On the main hub screen, the number on the zone banner includes all interludes, locked and unlocked. However, there is a special Interlude banner under all the zone banners that will only link to unlocked Interludes.
